Mohsin Naqvi and Sarfraz Bugti chair important meeting after blast

Web Desk: Mohsin Naqvi and Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level meeting in Quetta following the deadly blast near Chaman Phatak, where officials reviewed the initial investigation report and the overall security situation.

Senior police and law enforcement officials, including the Inspector General of Balochistan Police, attended the meeting. Participants strongly condemned the attack on civilians and expressed condolences and solidarity with the families of those killed in the explosion.

Moreover, officials reiterated their commitment to bringing those responsible for the attack to justice.

Meanwhile, Mohsin Naqvi said the federal government stood firmly with the Balochistan government during the difficult period and vowed full support in responding to the incident.

He described the targeting of innocent civilians as a brutal act of violence and said the sacrifices of the victims would not be forgotten.

In addition, Mir Sarfraz Bugti thanked the federal government for its support and said the provincial administration remained committed to pursuing those involved in the attack.

“The blood of the martyrs will not go in vain,” he said during the meeting, adding that the families of the victims would not be left alone.

Officials also reviewed the condition of those injured in the blast and said authorities were personally monitoring medical treatment to ensure victims received the best possible healthcare facilities.

Furthermore, senior police and security officials briefed the meeting on preliminary findings from the investigation and ongoing security measures following the attack.
