A deadly and tragic car accident occurred near Parade Ground on Jinnah Avenue, claiming the life of Rayan Wazir, the daughter of former ambassador Ayaz Wazir
According to sources, the tragic incident occurred near the Parade Ground Metro Station, where a Suzuki Swift car lost control due to over speeding and mounted the footpath.
Initial reports said the woman driving the vehicle died on the spot. Police sources stated that the car bearing registration number CB-214 is registered in the name of Ayaz Khan.
Rescue personnel shifted the body to PIMS Hospital, while police have launched an investigation into the accident.
According to the report, the woman was allegedly using a mobile phone while driving; however, this has not yet been confirmed and police investigations are underway.
