Web Desk: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Staff (CDF), arrived in Tehran on Friday as part of ongoing mediation efforts.
Upon his arrival in the Iranian capital, Munir was received by Iran’s Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni. Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also present to welcome the visiting military chief, the military’s media wing said.
