Security forces carried out a successful operation in the Shewa area of North Waziristan, killing 18 militants during an intelligence-based operation.
However, a video that surfaced online allegedly shows some local individuals attempting to facilitate the escape of militants, highlighting the serious challenge posed by local support networks in the fight against terrorism.
According to details, security forces launched the operation against terrorists in the region and eliminated 18 militants. During the operation, some alleged facilitators reportedly surrounded the militants and tried to provide them with a safe escape route, an incident being described as deeply concerning.
Militant groups have long been accused of hiding among civilian populations and using local facilitators as shields to obstruct security operations.
Authorities say such facilitators are not only enemies of peace and stability but are also putting the entire region’s security at risk for vested interests.
Despite these challenges, security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorists and their support networks, with operations continuing across the region.
Security Forces are committed and resolved to counter all such elements which are sponsored and facilitated by India in pursuit of disrupting the peace of Pakistan.
