New prizes, draw date for Rs1,500 prize bonds announced

The 106th draw of Rs1,500 national prize bonds will be held on Friday, May 15, in Sialkot.


The draw ceremony will begin at 8:45am in the banking hall of State Bank of Pakistan, where people from different walks of life, investors and prize bond holders will participate in large numbers.


According to State Bank officials, all arrangements for the draw have been completed, while special measures have also been taken to ensure transparency. Winning numbers will be announced in the traditional manner, and the complete list will later be issued.


In this Rs1,500 prize bond draw, the first prize is Rs3 million, which will go to one lucky winner. Similarly, three people will receive second prizes of Rs1 million each.


In addition, as the third prize, 1,696 lucky winners will receive Rs18,500 each. A large number of citizens who invest in prize bonds are eagerly waiting for this draw.


According to financial experts, the national prize bond scheme is still considered a popular investment among the public because it offers both secure investment and the opportunity to win huge prizes.


Tax rate on prize bonds increased


It is worth mentioning that prize bond draws are held several times a year in different cities, and thousands of citizens participate in every draw.


The list of winning numbers will be issued immediately after the draw by the State Bank of Pakistan⁠ and relevant authorities.
