Pakistani film industry superstar Mehwish Hayat has revealed that performing in the famous item song “Billie”, which marked the beginning of her film career, was actually one of the best decisions of her life.
In a recent interview, the actress shared interesting experiences from her artistic journey and her transition from television dramas to films. She said that performing in “Billie” was a bold step for her that could have gone in any direction.
Mehwish Hayat said that during the shoot she suffered from fatigue and physical injuries, yet remained very enthusiastic. According to her, she had always believed that her face was suitable for the big screen, and this was also confirmed by senior actor Javed Sheikh, who once told her during a drama that she had all the qualities of a film star.
In the same show, actor Fahad Mustafa shared a humorous incident from the shoot, saying that Mehwish Hayat’s performance was so powerful that the owner of the location, while watching her perform, became so absorbed that he lost his balance and fell from a height.
It is worth noting that the duo will once again appear on the big screen in the film “Zombied”, which is set to release on Eid-ul-Adha this year.
