Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Uzma Bukhari has strongly criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that India should abandon any dreams of aggression against Pakistan.

Addressing Modi, she said: “Mr. Modi! How many more defeats do you want to suffer at the hands of Pakistan? It would be better if you use your energy for something meaningful.”

Uzma Bukhari stated that when Pakistan took a firm stance on the water issue, India “backed off like a scared cat.” As a result of Pakistan’s strong response, India opened the gates of the Baglihar Dam “like obedient children.” She claimed this proves that India only understands the language of power, and its wounds from Pakistan’s response are still fresh after a year.

She further warned that if India repeats any mischief, it will face an even stronger response than before.

Uzma Bukhari added that India has lost the capacity to confront Pakistan on the real battlefield, which is why it is trying to hide its failures by making films against Pakistan. She said Pakistan has now decided to treat India’s “empty threats” only as material for memes.

On regional affairs, she expressed concern over rising tensions between Iran and the United States, saying wars are not a lasting solution to any problem. She stressed that the region cannot afford further conflict and urged global powers to act responsibly.
