Web Desk: Pakistan’s armed forces marked the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” on Wednesday by hailing what they described as a defining moment in the country’s defense history and reaffirming their readiness to counter future threats with greater force and precision.
In a message issued on the anniversary, the military particularly the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) said the operation strengthened national confidence, reinforced institutional resolve and demonstrated the country’s modern combat preparedness to the world.
The statement described the campaign’s air operations as “unique and extraordinary,” saying they reflected a high level of professionalism in modern aerial warfare.
The military said the PAF was emerging as a future-oriented air power through the use of advanced technologies, smart systems and “niche and disruptive capabilities.”
It added that expertise in multi-domain operations had enabled the air force to align itself with the evolving demands of modern warfare, making it an effective and decisive combat force.
Furthermore, the statement said Pakistan’s armed forces continued to invest in advanced capabilities, technology and professional training to address future security challenges amid a changing geopolitical environment and what it called aggressive military preparations by adversaries.
As a result, the armed forces said they were now “more prepared, focused and fully vigilant” for future conflicts.
At the same time, the military reiterated that Pakistan remained a peace-loving country and that its armed forces operated with a responsible and mature strategic outlook.
It said every military preparation and capability was aimed at promoting peace, stability and security in the region, adding that Pakistan’s concept of peace had always been linked to dignity, sovereignty and equality.
However, the statement warned that any aggression or hostile intent against Pakistan would receive a “stronger, more precise and more determined response” in the future.
“The enemy witnessed Pakistan’s strength, preparedness and decisive capability during Marka-e-Haq,” the statement said. “Any future misadventure will be answered even more forcefully.”
Meanwhile, the armed forces paid tribute to PAF officers, soldiers and staff for what it called their professionalism, sacrifice and operational focus in defending Pakistan’s airspace.
The statement said the air force’s courage, preparedness and timely action had become a “bright chapter” in the country’s military history.
It added that the PAF had thwarted hostile designs through determination, skill and sacrifice, making national security “impregnable.”
The military also maintained that the Pakistan Air Force continued to rank among the world’s leading air forces because of its professional excellence, advanced combat capability and unwavering resolve.
Concluding the message, the PAF reaffirmed its long-standing motto, saying it would remain “Second to None” and continue to serve as a symbol of pride, strength and confidence for the nation.
