Netanyahu cancer diagnosis

Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed suffering from cancer, medical report released on personal social account.

Jerusalem: Israel’s Prime Minister has revealed that he had developed prostate cancer, which was treated quietly. After a recent medical examination, he presented details regarding his health before the public and claimed full recovery.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday released his annual medical report and revealed that he had been secretly receiving treatment for prostate cancer during the Iran war and has now fully recovered from the disease.

This is the first time that the longest-serving leader in Israel’s history has informed the public regarding his cancer diagnosis.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held telephone contact with his Russian counterpart, discussion on Iran-United States negotiations and date of Prime Minister’s visit to Russia.

Seventy-six-year-old Netanyahu, while releasing the annual medical examination report, said that in December 2024 surgery was performed due to enlargement of his prostate, information of which had at that time been given to the public by the Prime Minister’s Office.

However, during recent medical tests doctors discovered a malignant tumor of less than one centimeter in his prostate. “Thank God I am completely healthy. I had a minor medical issue related to the prostate which has been completely treated.”

The publication of his annual medical report was delayed by two months so that this matter could not be used as propaganda against Iran.
