Lahore : Renowned anchor Iqrar-ul-Hassan has resigned from ARY News after a long association spanning 21 years.
Iqrar-ul-Hassan began his career as a news caster when ARY News transmissions were based in Dubai. He later rose to nationwide fame through his investigative program Sar-e-Aam, which became one of the most popular shows on Pakistani television.
Recently, he also launched his own political movement, Awam Raj.
In his message, he stated that he had to choose between continuing his role at ARY News and pursuing his political journey with Awam Raj. He ultimately decided to move forward with his political mission, bringing an end to what he described as a “remarkable 21-year journey filled with countless memories.”
The development has created mixed reactions on social media, with many viewers praising his contributions to investigative journalism, while others expressed curiosity about his future in politics and how his new journey with Awam Raj will unfold in the coming months.
