Afghan journalist Sami Yousafzai has expressed grave concerns over the current situation in Afghanistan in a post on X, demanding peace and stability in Afghanistan and the well-being of its miserable subjects.

He has warned that after Mullah Omar, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada is now pushing Afghanistan towards a deeper crisis which could further deteriorate the condition of war stricken Afghanistan.

He wrote that the ultimate sufferers are common citizens who are kept deprived of basic needs of life due to wrong decisions and unnecessary wars.

According to him, history shows that when leaders choose conflict instead of wisdom, innocent people always pay the price in the form of loss, poverty, and long lasting grief.

He added that war is not a sign of strength or political skill, but a failure that brings long term sufferings for the citizens.

In his post Sami Yousafzai yearns for peace and stability for the people of Afghanistan .He wrote that Afghans deserve peace and prosperity.
