Advance Eid salaries

The government has decided to pay salaries to federal government employees before Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to reports, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued special instructions to ensure that federal employees receive their salaries before the Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 holidays.

Sources said that federal departments have received the Prime Minister’s directives, after which the process to release salaries ahead of Eid has been initiated.

The government often announces early salary payments before major religious festivals such as Eid to help employees manage their expenses and make preparations for the occasion. This step is aimed at providing financial relief and convenience to government workers ahead of the holidays.
