The new season’s logo was unveiled on the PSL social media platforms, featuring the word “Eleven” beautifully and uniquely highlighted in Urdu.

PSL CEO Salman Nasir, speaking at a press conference during the ownership change of the Sialkot Stallions team, said that the complete schedule of the league will be announced in the coming days. He confirmed that the opening ceremony will be held on March 26 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

After the ceremony, the defending champions Lahore Qalandars will face Hyderabad Kingsmen in the opening match.

Salman Nasir further stated that the PSL inspection team has visited Peshawar Stadium and improvement work is underway there. He added that efforts are being made to host some matches of this season in Peshawar as well.

Regarding financial matters, he clarified that the OZI Group had completed all its financial obligations in the second week of January and that the bank guarantee is available. Therefore, claims about default are baseless.

He also mentioned that the inclusion of young talent like Gohar Shah in the PSL is encouraging. On the question of hosting a final abroad, he said that a decision on holding one match outside Pakistan this year or next year will be announced soon
