China Iran missile deal

Beijing: China has denied any deal between Iran and China for the supersonic anti-ship CM-302. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China confirmed it during a press briefing on Monday.

The spokeperson stated that Washington did not provide prior notification before launching military strikes against Iran, urging all parties to halt military operations and work toward de-escalation. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “I can confirm that China was not informed in advance.”

The spokesperson added that the United States and Israel initiated military actions without authorization from the United Nations Security Council, calling it a violation of international law.

Beijing also expressed deep concern that the conflict is affecting neighboring countries and stressed that the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and security of all Gulf states must be fully respected.
