Rawalpindi: Seven years have been completed since Operation Swift Retort. On this occasion, the Armed Forces of Pakistan paid tribute to this historic action.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Chiefs of the Navy and Air Force, in a joint message, reaffirmed that Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding national security and regional peace remains unwavering.
The ISPR stated that through Operation Swift Retort, launched on February 27, 2019, a decisive response was given to Indian aggression. The operation highlighted the professionalism, preparedness, and defensive capabilities of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
The military’s media wing further said that the operation deterred further aggression and restored strategic balance in the region. The leadership reiterated on this occasion that the Armed Forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to confront any threat with full force.
According to ISPR, Pakistan will continue to protect its sovereignty and play its role in promoting global stability.
