Pakistan has reportedly taken control of five Afghan border posts in Afghanistan’s Paktia province, opposite South Waziristan, and hoisted its national flag there.
According to security sources, two of the captured posts are located opposite Shawal. Two others face Angoor Adda. One post is situated opposite Zarmalan.
Sources further claimed that the Afghan terminal at Angoor Adda has also been destroyed during the action.

Pakistan security forces had launched Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq in the wee hours of Friday after the Taliban carried out unprovoked activity along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.
133 militants have been killed and more than 200 were injured during the action.
The border belt between South Waziristan and Paktia has remained tense in recent years. Pakistani officials have repeatedly raised concerns over cross-border movement and militant sanctuaries. Kabul, in past statements, has denied allowing its territory to be used against Pakistan.
