Web desk: The people of Kurram have delivered a bold and historic message. If Afghanistan launches any attack they will treat it as an attack on Pakistan itself. Therefore this will not be seen as a sectarian issue. Instead it will be a battle for national defense.
In a powerful show of solidarity thousands of citizens moved toward the Pak Afghan border. Their action clearly demonstrated support for the Pakistan Army. At the same time they made it clear that terrorism targets the entire nation not any single sect.
Across Kurram a strong sense of unity can be seen. No one speaks of Shia or Sunni identity. Rather everyone proudly claims one name Pakistani. This shared identity has brought the community together with remarkable strength.
Men and women young and old stand side by side to defend their homeland. Moreover they have pledged to protect every inch of their soil. With confidence and determination they are ready to defeat any hostile plan.
Anyone who looks at this land with bad intentions will face a united nation. Because of this powerful unity no enemy can succeed. The people have chosen courage over fear and solidarity over division.
The citizens of Kurram openly support the Pakistan Army. They stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces and prepare for every challenge. If sacrifice becomes necessary they will give it without hesitation. Above all they remain committed to the sovereignty security and dignity of Pakistan.
Today Kurram speaks with one voice. There is no division. There is only Pakistan.
There is no Shia. There is no Sunni. There is only Pakistan.
