Islamabad: Significant progress has been made in the foreign funding case against Imran Khan, with the court ordering that a complete challan (charge sheet) be submitted against the accused by March 5.

The hearing took place at the Banking Court Islamabad, where the case against Imran Khan and others was being heard. During the proceedings, Siraj Ahmed, CFO of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and Faisal Qazi, an employee of a private bank, were also included in the investigation.

During the hearing before Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakr, the FIA informed the court that after the inclusion of two new accused, the challan will be recompiled as a complete charge sheet. The special prosecutor, Wasiq Malik, also appeared in court.

Wasiq Malik told the court that a partial challan had already been submitted earlier, but now, with the two new accused included, a full and complete challan will be filed instead of a supplementary one.

The judge asked how much time the prosecution would need to complete the challan. The special prosecutor requested 10–15 days, promising that the complete challan would be submitted within that time.

The court then ordered the complete challan against Imran Khan and others to be submitted by March 5 and granted interim bail to Siraj Ahmed and Faisal Qazi until March 5. The court adjourned the next hearing of the PTI foreign funding case until March 5.
