Karachi: Gold prices declined further today, making gold cheaper in both international and local markets.
In the international bullion market, a significant drop of $255 per ounce was recorded on Saturday, bringing the new global gold price down to $4,895 per ounce.
Similarly, in local bullion markets, on the last business day of the week, the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell sharply by Rs 25,500, reaching Rs 511,862. The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs 21,862 ,leaving the current price Rs 438,839 in local markets.
