Web Desk: State Interior Minister Talal Chaudhry dismissed reports of a security operation in the Tirah Valley, saying no such action is currently taking place and urging the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to avoid what he described as divisive political messaging.
Speaking in a televised address, Chaudhry said the government would publicly announce any future security operation rather than act covertly. He stressed that transparency would be maintained if such a decision were made.
He accused PTI of reigniting controversy around the Tirah Valley through what he termed negative political narratives. Chaudhry also referred to emerging allegations of misuse of relief funds allocated for residents of the region, saying those claims were now under scrutiny.
