Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Wednesday that Pakistan has given an unforgettable lesson to India during Pakisan-India May war.
“Pakistan had taught the Modi government such a lesson during the Pakistan-India conflict that it would never forget it,” the prime minister said while addressing a ceremony at Haripur university Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PM Shehbaz said that Pakistan’s armed forces during the Pak-India conflict in May achieved success with a lot of prayers and the nation’s support.
“India, from Delhi to Mumbai, would never forget this defeat,” he added.
The prime minister also praised the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and described them as brave, resilient, and valiant people who struggle against terrorism in the province.
“It is because of your sacrifices that peace has been restored in the country,” he said, paying tribute to the people of KP.

Islamabad police arrested an Afghan national for impersonating a US Embassy employee using a fraudulent identification card, officials said. The suspect, identified as Haris, was wanted in multiple fraud cases and is now in police custody.
Incident at Diplomatic Enclave
Authorities said Haris attempted to enter the Diplomatic Enclave while traveling in a vehicle with two women. Officials from police and intelligence agencies had been tracking him and intervened as he tried to gain access to the embassy area.
Fraud allegations and embassy complaint
According to sources, the US Embassy had filed a complaint regarding Haris, prompting local authorities to intensify surveillance. Police said Haris had used the fake card to falsely present himself as an embassy employee.
