The first picture from the simple wedding ceremony of world-famous Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez has emerged.
Ronaldo and Georgina got married on August 11, 2026, during a civil ceremony at their home in Cascais, Portugal.
Despite being considered one of the world’s most popular couples, the two opted for an extremely private affair instead of a grand and luxurious ceremony. The ceremony was attended by their five children and a few close family members.
A Special Choice of ‘Gucci’ for the Wedding
For the wedding, Ronaldo and Georgina chose outfits from renowned luxury fashion brand Gucci.
Instead of a traditional bridal gown, Georgina wore an elegant white silk skirt suit, while Ronaldo appeared in a light khaki-colored suit.
Their children’s outfits were also kept in light and coordinated colors.
The choice of Gucci holds special significance for the couple because they first met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina was working as a sales assistant.

Explaining the reason for keeping the wedding simple, Georgina said, “As a child, I used to dream of getting married in a magnificent palace, with a large wedding procession and a long bridal dress, but now my wish was to have a short and private ceremony at home with my partner and children.”

Along with the wedding, Ronaldo has also given an important indication regarding his football career. The 41-year-old star says that the 2026–27 season could potentially be the final season of his football career.
According to Ronaldo, he wants to leave behind a remarkable legacy as he bids farewell to the sport. However, he has not yet officially announced his retirement.
