New York: National cricketers have started arriving in New York to attend the PSL Road Show. The players include Salman Ali Agha, Shan Masood, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed, Saud Shakeel and Saim Ayub.
The road show is scheduled to take place today.
This will be the second roadshow of Pakistan Super League this year. The first roadshow was conducted at Lord’s Cricket ground in London. The first roadshow garnered attention especially for Legendary Pacer Wasim Akram’s comments on Indian Premiere being needlessly long.
Fans have been really excited for PSL this season. Two new teams are being added. The teams are almost finalized. It seems that Inverex Solar Group is one of the strongest contenders to buy a new PSL franchise. The franchise when secured will be expected to represent either Faisalabad or Rawalpindi.
The position of Inverex Solar Group in the bidding process is very strong. This is due to them contributing as a sponsor for more than 10 years.
It is also being said that the second new franchise could be based on Gilgit. Reports also suggest Aga Khan Group is interested in securing the franchise.
Fans are also excited because some prominent players this season will be playing in PSL. Both Moeen Ali and Faf du Plessis have decided to skip IPL to play PSL. This has garnered PSL worldwide attention.
