Islamabad: A 70-year-old resident of Rawalpindi, Abid Hussain, passed away on Monday at the reception area of the Supreme Court of Pakistan after suffering a heart attack.
As per officials, that at the court Abid Hussain had appeared at the court for hearing of his pending case regarding the construction of his house. The case, listed in the serial number eight as Muhammad Ramzan vs Abid Hussain and the case was fixed before a two-member bench comprising Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Shahzad Malik.
The case was filed on 22 July 2024, had its first hearing on 11 November 2025. When the court proceedings were adjourned, from court Hussain was going back home when suddenly he was collapsed at the reception of Supreme Court. According to the hospital sources Abid Hussain was rushed to hospital but on the way succumbed.
