Textile Asia 2025 opens in Lahore with global participation

LAHORE: The 31st Textile Asia Exhibition 2025 began with an impressive launch at the Lahore Expo Centre, marking the start of the international exhibition and conference series. The opening ceremony for Day 1 was performed by Sheikh Shafiq Jokhuwala, Chief Coordinator of the Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association.

This year’s event has drawn more than 2,000 global brands, 425 exhibitors, and a large number of international delegates. Organizers expect over 57,000 trade visitors, participants from more than 15 countries, and on-site business opportunities estimated at around 300 million dollars.

The exhibition is organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Private) Limited, with strategic support from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

The 2025 edition highlights Textile 4.0, smart factories, digital automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Day 1 also saw the launch of Eco Textile Conference 2.0, held under the theme: “Responsible Textile Shift: A New Dimension for Pakistan’s Textile Future.”

The conference brought together global experts and policymakers who discussed renewable energy, the circular economy, and the foundations of sustainable textile development. Day 1 concluded with these key sessions setting the tone for the days ahead.
