Seven Indian-backed fitna al khwarij militants killed in KP

RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces have killed seven Indian-backed fitna al khwarij militants during three separate operations during November 18 and 19 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Acting on intelligence reports, security forces launched an operation in Mohmand District. During the engagement, according to ISPR, troops targeted the militants’ location, and after an intense exchange of fire, four militants were killed.

In Lakki Marwat District, another intelligence-based operation led to a firefight in which two militants were neutralized.

A third encounter in Tank District resulted in the elimination of one more militant.

Sanitization operations are ongoing to root out any remaining Indian-sponsored militants. Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies reaffirmed their commitment to the Counter-Terrorism campaign under the “Azm e Istehkam” initiative, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, aimed at eradicating foreign-supported terrorism from the country.
