Islamabad sets up eight points for installing M-Tags

ISLAMABAD: Authorities in the federal capital have introduced M-Tag installation facilities at several locations across the city, allowing residents to get their vehicles tagged between 9am and 9pm.

Installation points have been set up at Kachnar Park in Sector I-8, Islamabad Club, and Lake View Park. In addition, citizens can also obtain M-Tags from F-9 Park, Tarlai, 26 Number Chungi area, and Gulberg Green.

At the Excise and Taxation Office, the service will be available from 3pm to 9pm.

According to the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration, residents can visit any nearby point and get their M-Tag without waiting in long queues.

The administration has made it clear that no vehicle will be allowed to operate in Islamabad without an M-Tag. In the next phase, legal action will also be taken against vehicles found on the roads without the mandatory tag.
