DG ISPR engages with students and teachers on national security

ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, held an interactive session with students and teachers from various educational institutions, focusing on current national and security affairs.

According to ISPR, the DG ISPR met with students and faculty members of Convent of Jesus and Mary, Beaconhouse, and Roots School System, where he discussed the operational matters of the Pakistan Army and the country’s internal situation.

During the session, the Principal of Convent of Jesus and Mary paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army. Teachers and students also shared their thoughts, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with the military leadership.

Students said it was a great privilege to interact with the Army and expressed pride in the armed forces for their constant readiness to lay down their lives for the nation. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif advised the students to view facts from the right perspective and remain cautious about propaganda and misleading content on social media.

Teachers noted that the session helped them understand how to respond to the strategic arrogance of the country’s perpetual adversary. They saluted the Pakistan Army for its unwavering commitment and bravery.

The students emphasized the importance of acting responsibly as citizens by protecting themselves from online misinformation. They stressed the need for fact-checking before believing or sharing any media content, adding that Pakistan’s people and armed forces have built a strong bond against India’s hostile designs.

Students said they now have a clearer understanding of how the Pakistan Army plays a vital role in safeguarding the country from terrorism and maintaining national security.
