ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Wednesday stated that terrorism remains one of the major global challenges today, and Pakistan is playing a proactive role in combating this menace.

Speaking at the International Parliamentary Speakers Conference in Islamabad, Ishaq Dar emphasized that dialogue, understanding, and partnership are the only sustainable paths to peace and security. He added that cowardly acts cannot shake or weaken Pakistan’s national resolve.

“We strongly condemn all forms of terrorist activities, whether they occur in our capital Islamabad, as happened yesterday, or anywhere else in the world,” he said. He highlighted recent double terrorist attacks in Wana and Islamabad that claimed 15 precious lives but noted that these attacks cannot undermine Pakistan’s determination.
