Baloch women praised for key role in social development

QUETTA: A seminar titled “The Role of Baloch Women in Social Development” was organized in District Kech under the supervision of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan South.

The event aimed to highlight the social importance of Baloch women and their vital contribution to the region’s progress and development.

Inspector General FC Balochistan (South), members of the provincial assembly, local politicians, civil society representatives, teachers, doctors, and a large number of women attended the seminar.

Panel members, while sharing their views, said that Baloch women have always played a key role in social development. They added that Baloch women are courageous, determined, and stand shoulder to shoulder with men in every field.

Panelists further noted that whether in education, medicine, bureaucracy, security, politics, or administration, Baloch women have consistently proven their abilities and earned recognition for their contributions.

During the question-and-answer and interactive sessions, participants expressed pride in the growing and influential role of Baloch women in society.

Addressing the seminar, IG FC Balochistan (South) stated that social development is a gradual and organized process in which the role of Baloch women is extremely significant. He added that today, Baloch women are making remarkable contributions to national development through their hard work, determination, and skills.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants emphasized the need to provide Baloch women with equal opportunities in education, employment, and leadership. They noted that women possess the potential to play a key role in the province’s progress and stability.
