Gold prices continue to drop in local and global markets

KARACHI: The downward trend in gold prices continues both in international and local markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers and Gems Association, the price of gold per tola has fallen by Rs3,300, bringing it down to Rs430,362. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs2,829, now standing at Rs368,966.

At the start of the business week, the price of gold in the international bullion market declined by $33 per ounce, reaching $4,080.

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola has also dropped by Rs27, currently recorded at Rs5,097.
