RAWALPINDI: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Wanda Sheikh Allah area of Lakki Marwat on October 24, sending eight Fitna al Khwarij militants to hell and injuring five others, according to security sources.

The operation was launched following credible intelligence reports regarding the presence of militants in the area. Security forces, demonstrating exceptional combat skill and coordination, successfully encircled the hideout, leaving the militants with no escape route, sources said.

Following the operation, a search operation is underway to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining threats. Security officials reaffirmed that under the National Action Plan, counterterrorism operations will continue until the elimination of the last militant and the complete restoration of peace and stability in the region.
