Sindh Cabinet approves wheat release policy A provincial cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah. The wheat release policy was approved in the meeting attended by ministers, advisors, special assistants, chief secretary and other senior officials. The main objective of the approval is to maintain stability in the prices of flour and provide relief to the people. It was also decided in the meeting that the interests of small farmers will be protected.

and 1.265 million metric tons of wheat will be supplied to flour mills and grinders. The price of a 100 kg bag of wheat has been fixed at Rs 9500 The release of wheat will be started in a phased and immediate manner and storage will not be allowed, the officials said. Additionally, the Cabinet approved the reconstitution of the SEDF Board of Directors and the appointment of independent members The SEDF Fund, which was established in 2011 for business and investment development, will now play an important role in the promotion of investment, business and employment.
