India beat Bangladesh by 41 runs

Abhishek Sharma’s blazing half-century and a disciplined bowling display powered India to a 41-run triumph over Bangladesh in the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

The win sealed India’s place in the final and simultaneously knocked Sri Lanka out of the tournament.

Chasing 169, Bangladesh faltered to 127 all out in 19.3 overs despite opener Saif Hassan’s fighting knock.

The right-hander struck 69 off 51 balls, hitting five sixes and as many fours. He shared a 42-run stand with Parvez Hossain Emon (21 off 19) for the second wicket, but the rest of the batting lineup collapsed under pressure.

Kuldeep Yadav led India’s bowling charge with 3 for 18, while Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy claimed two wickets apiece.
