President Donald Trump said US forces carried out a second “kinetic strike” against narcoterrorists operating in international waters in the US Southern Command area.

In a post on social media, he said the target was a Venezuela-linked group transporting illegal narcotics toward the United States.

He added that three men were killed and no US personnel were harmed.

President cites threat to US security and vital interests

Trump framed the action as a response to cartels that he said endanger US national security, foreign policy, and vital interests.

He described drug shipments as a deadly weapon and argued that decades of trafficking have devastated American communities.

He also issued a warning to smugglers that US forces would pursue them at sea. The statement did not specify the platform used, the exact location, or which US unit executed the mission.

Three narcoterrorists killed; no US casualties reported

According to the President, the strike hit a vessel in international waters as it moved narcotics north.

He said three suspected traffickers were killed in action, with no injuries to US forces. The announcement follows his earlier claim of a first maritime strike under the same campaign.

US Southern Command typically oversees counter-drug patrols with Navy, Coast Guard, and partner assets.
