India has not shared complete flood information at diplomatic level: Pakistan

Web desk: Pakistan’s Foreign Office said that India has not provided complete diplomatic information regarding the recent floods. The office called on New Delhi to share full details to coordinate relief and response efforts.

The Foreign Office spokesperson said that India has not provided Pakistan with complete details regarding the floods at the diplomatic level.

During the weekly briefing today, Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that India had shared some details about the floods at the diplomatic level; however, the Foreign Office has not been provided with full information.

Pakistan Condemns Israeli Attacks in Gaza

Commenting on the Gaza crisis, the spokesperson condemned Israeli attacks on Khan Younis, saying that Israel has targeted hospitals and journalists and continues to commit grave human rights violations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s successful China visit

The spokesperson highlighted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to China, describing it as highly successful. Invited by President Xi Jinping, the Prime Minister attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, met with multiple leaders, and voiced condemnation of Israeli aggression in Gaza.

Focus on Afghanistan and regional cooperation at SCO

Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, while addressing a weekly press briefing on Friday, said, “Any people with no documentation should leave. This is what Pakistan is doing and what any other country will be doing, including in Europe and other countries … it is our territory, we decide who stays in.”

At the summit, the Prime Minister raised the Afghanistan issue, emphasising dialogue with Kabul. He also held meetings with the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Iran, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to strong bilateral and regional ties.

Strengthening Pakistan-Russia relations

According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan and Russia emphasised advancing cooperation in multiple sectors. The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the SCO vision and urged enhanced regional collaboration, while condemning Israeli actions in Gaza and Iran.
