Balochistan government announces 2-day holiday across province on Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Web desk: The Balochistan government has announced a two-day holiday across the province on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi on September 5 and 6.

According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), all government, semi-government, and private offices will remain closed.

Additionally, educational institutions across the province will remain closed on Friday and Saturday, corresponding to 11 and 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal, 1447 AH.

The notification, however, clarified that emergency and essential services will continue as usual to ensure public safety and uninterrupted facilities during the holiday period.

Balochistan announces two-day holiday on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)

The Balochistan government has announced public holidays on September 5 and 6 in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) will be celebrated with religious fervour, devotion, and unity. He urged the public to mark the occasion with peace, brotherhood, and harmony.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) holiday in other provinces

At the federal level, the government has declared September 6, which is 12 Rabi’ al-Awwal as per the Islamic calendar, a nationwide holiday.

Meanwhile, the Sindh government has announced holidays on September 5 and 6, while Punjab has declared a one-day holiday on September 6.

Every year, Pakistan, along with several countries around the world, observes the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with deep religious respect and enthusiasm.
