Web Desk: A grade 7 student, Alisha Saleem has become a 12-year-old author. She launched her book Inner Frame today. The special ceremony was hosted by Seema Batool.
Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif, Irum Raza Butt, Senior Mistress of Beaconhouse Margalla Campus Girls Branch and Famous booktuber Shahrukh Nadeem (Book Buddy) attended the event.
Alisha has become one of Pakistan’s youngest authors. At just 12 years old her book the Inner Reframe addresses resilience, mental health and personal growth.
Alisha was praised by Minister Hanif Abbasi, for her courage in addressing such an important topic. Shahrukh Nadeem the book buddy also praised her for achieving such a huge milestone and for inspiring young writers and readers.
10 percent of the sales as announced by Alisha will be donated to families affected by recent floods in Pakistan. Few of the guests were awarded with shields and in recognition of their support the volunteers were given certificates.
A group photo, a book signing session and a ribbon cutting ceremony concluded the event.
The publication Inner Reframe is now available for purchase online. It us very commendable that 12-year-old young girl wants to donate 10 percent of her book earnings to flood victims.
Additionally, this is a very positive sign for Pakistan. Children of such young age writing and publishing books mean that our children and are going in the right direction.
