Fortuner SUV lineup in Pakistan

Web Desk: Toyota has announced a limited-time reduction in prices for its Fortuner SUV lineup in Pakistan, while simultaneously increasing vehicle delivery and shipment charges across its broader model range.

The company said the revised pricing comes as part of its 35-year operations milestone in Pakistan, offering temporary relief for buyers in the premium SUV segment.

Under the revised structure, the Fortuner G variant has been reduced to 12,435,000 rupees, while the Fortuner V variant now costs 14,935,000 rupees.

Previously, the Fortuner G was priced at 14,939,000 rupees, and the Fortuner V stood at 17,509,000 rupees. As a result, both variants have seen reductions of more than 2.5 million rupees each.

However, Toyota clarified that the offer will remain valid for a limited period and depends on availability, indicating constrained stock levels.

Company raises freight charges amid cost pressures
In a separate development, Toyota also increased shipment and delivery charges across its vehicle lineup, citing rising fuel costs and logistical expenses.

The company instructed customers to complete full payments for bookings placed before April 17, 2026, while orders placed after that date will be subject to revised freight rates.

According to updated rates, delivery charges for Yaris and Corolla models have increased from around 125,000 rupees to 185,000 rupees or higher.

Similarly, freight charges for the Corolla Cross have risen from 135,000 rupees to approximately 205,000 rupees or more.

Meanwhile, Fortuner and Revo series vehicles have seen the steepest adjustment, with delivery costs increasing from 150,000 rupees to about 240,000 rupees or above.

The dual pricing strategy highlights shifting cost dynamics in Pakistan’s auto sector, where promotional discounts on vehicle prices are being offset by rising logistics expenses.

Industry observers say such adjustments reflect broader pressures in supply chains and fuel markets, which continue to influence consumer pricing trends across imported and locally assembled vehicles.
