A tragic road accident on the Swat Expressway has claimed the lives of 11 people, while 7 others were injured after a collision between a passenger van and a bus.
According to details, the accident took place near Ismailia between a passenger van and a bus. The bus was traveling from Karachi to Buner, while the van was heading from Rawalpindi to Dir.
Rescue officials said the passenger bus was parked on the roadside when a speeding van coming from behind collided with it. Initial reports suggest that the accident occurred due to alleged negligence by the van driver.
Rescue teams reached the scene immediately after the incident and shifted the bodies and injured passengers to a nearby hospital, where the injured are receiving medical treatment.
