Sikh student gets A+ in Islamiat and Quran translation board exams

A Sikh student, Onkar Singh, has gotten exceptional marks in his board exams.

The student got 98 marks out of 100 in Islamiat and 49 out of 50 in Translation of the Holy Quran.

He scored these marks in Lahore’s Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) 9th Class Examination 2025.

Overall, he got 550 marks out of 555.

In an interview, he thanked Allah and his family for this achievement in the board exams, and said he aspires to become an MBBS student.

His father said that their family believes one should study every religion with respect. He also revealed that his whole family studies Islamiat and emphasises giving respect to all religions.
