North Waziristan: Security forces killed seven terrorists linked to an Indian-backed proxy group, Fitna Al Khwarij, during two separate operations in North Waziristan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on 1 December 2025, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Intelligence-Based Operations Target Terrorists

Security forces launched the first operation in the Mir Ali area following reports of militant presence. Security forces engaged the militants in a fierce exchange of fire, resulting in the deaths of six insurgents. ISPR reported that security forces recovered weapons and ammunition at the site.

Security forces conducted a second operation in Spinwam and neutralized one additional militant in a subsequent firefight. Reports indicate that the deceased militants had carried out numerous terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and targeted killings of civilians.

Continued Counter-Terrorism Efforts

Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining militants in the area. Moreover, the ISPR emphasized that these actions are part of a sustained counter-terrorism campaign under the national vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” which was approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

Authorities said the campaign will continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan and safeguard civilians and security personnel.
