Web Desk: Security forces in Pakistan killed four terrorists linked to the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) during an operation in the southwestern district.
According to security sources, the operation was launched in Washuk following intelligence reports about the presence of BLA terrorists in the area. During the operation, forces engaged the suspects, resulting in the killing of four terrorists.
Officials did not disclose further operational details, including whether any arrests were made or if security personnel sustained injuries.
Authorities said the terrorists were involved in a range of criminal activities in the area, including armed robbery, extortion, and theft. The operation aimed to dismantle networks contributing to lawlessness in remote parts of Balochistan.
The BLA, a separatist terrorist group, has carried out numerous attacks targeting security forces and infrastructure in Balochistan. In response, Pakistani authorities have intensified counterterrorism operations across the province.
