In the Bajaur sector, security forces delivered a swift and strong response after Afghan Taliban forces shelled civilian areas.


According to security sources, the retaliatory operation resulted in the destruction of three key Taliban posts, inflicting heavy losses on the attackers.


Sources further stated that several militants were killed during the operation, while others were forced to flee the area.


Security officials emphasized that the protection of civilian lives remains a top priority and any aggression will be met with a decisive response.
Tensions remain high in the region, with security forces on high alert and closely monitoring the situation.

It is worth noting that yesterday In the border area of Kat Kot village, Malik Shaheen, in Bajaur, alleged unprovoked shelling by the Afghan Taliban had resulted in the martyrdom of three civilians, including two children and a woman. Three others were seriously injured.

Security officials added that in recent days, the Afghan Taliban had been attempting to infiltrate militants (Fitna al-Khawarij) into Pakistan, but the Pakistan Army successfully foiled these attempts through timely action.


According to sources, following this failure, the Afghan Taliban carried out this aggressive act targeting civilians. In response, the Pakistan Army launched immediate retaliatory action and destroyed the gun positions from where the firing originated across the border.
