Balochistan: Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Dalbandin, Balochistan, eliminating a newly formed terrorist cell affiliated with the group referred to as “Fitna al-Hindustan,” according to security sources.
In the operation, all six militants were neutralized after being located in a mountainous cave. The hideout had been under aerial surveillance for several days, allowing forces to strike with precision at an appropriate time.
The operation is being hailed as a significant breakthrough in ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the region. Security sources stated that the militants were in the process of organizing and planning subversive activities when the raid was carried out.
“This successful operation reflects the excellent coordination and intelligence-sharing between security forces and intelligence agencies,” said a security official. “Such actions will continue until the threat of terrorism is fully eradicated from Balochistan.”
Operations against militant networks have intensified in recent months as part of a broader strategy to restore stability and ensure lasting peace in the province.
Continuing Operations
The First week of October saw a major operation where at least 14 terrorists were killed and more than 20 others injured, carried out by security forces in the Zehri area of Khuzdar district.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that the operation targeted militants linked to the banned outfit “Fitna Al Hindustan.” Several militant hideouts were also destroyed in the raid.
The ISPR reported that the operation was met with public support, as residents welcomed the forces, raised pro-army slogans, and pledged full cooperation in efforts to eliminate militancy from the region.
