The narrative “Pakistan betrayed Iran” was not based on any authentic news or real event; rather, it was part of a carefully planned, organized, and coordinated disinformation campaign.

The document campaign was run through a joint and coordinated network connecting operators in India and Afghanistan, using fake Iranian identities to create and spread anti-Pakistan narratives.

The campaign began with accounts presenting themselves as Iranian, such as INN Iran National News (@INNewx) and Iran TV (@Irania_TV).

These platforms, without any verified evidence, claimed that Pakistan was assisting the U.S. in oil transportation, creating a fabricated Iranian reaction.

According to sources, such accounts are part of a network that hides its true identity and geographic origin while crafting narratives.

Meanwhile, Indian accounts acted as strategic controllers and narrative designers. Accounts such as Ravikumar M (114k followers), JanNayak Raghu, and Sumit Tomar continuously pushed the narrative, attempting to portray Pakistan as unreliable and part of a Western agenda.


Later, Afghan-based accounts were used as proliferators and amplifiers to extend the reach of the narrative.

Accounts like W.A. Mubariz (115k followers) and Burhan Uddin (86k followers) amplified the story, linking it to economic betrayal and religious sensitivities to inflame public sentiment.

In this joint network, Times of Iran News (176k followers) is shown as a key “main amplifier.” It is identified as operating from India and played a central role in presenting false claims as news and analysis, making them appear credible and spreading them globally.

Further evidence shows that Indian and Afghan operators coordinated to use Iranian identities, frequently changing handles, using multiple names, and posting in a coordinated way to reinforce a single narrative.

All evidences show that this was not accidental social media activity but a complete, organized, and strategic information warfare campaign by India and Afghanistan, aimed at creating distrust in the region, inflaming religious sentiments, and diplomatically isolating Pakistan.
