ISLAMABAD: Through the efforts of SCO Vision 2025, the youth of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) are moving steadily towards empowerment and self-reliance. The initiative has focused on creating new opportunities in the field of information technology to ensure a brighter future for young people in the region.
Under the SCO Vision 2025 framework, 100 modern IT setups have been established across AJK and GB. The program has provided employment to over 700 individuals, while 1,500 freelancers have been trained and empowered to work independently.

SCO has also taken inclusive steps by establishing independent residential centers for persons with disabilities, reflecting its commitment to social responsibility.
These efforts have collectively generated nearly 20 million dollars in foreign exchange, showcasing the tangible impact of SCO Vision 2025 on the regional economy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director General of SCO stated, “Under SCO Vision 2025, a total of 100 IT parks have been jointly set up in AJK and GB.” He added, “These IT parks were completed within a record period of two years.”
