Sarwat Gilani reveals why Aamir Khan reached out to her

Pakistani actress Sarwat Gilani has revealed that Indian actor Aamir Khan contacted her after the popularity of the web series Churails and requested her to provide all the episodes of legendary Pakistani actor Moin Akhtar’s television programme.


In a recent interview, Sarwat Gilani said that when the web series Churails was released abroad, she was contacted by several Indian personalities. During the same period, Aamir Khan also contacted her because she knew someone from Aamir Khan’s production team.


Sarwat Gilani said that when Aamir Khan’s team contacted her, she thought that perhaps she was being offered a role in a Hindi film.


Actress wishes to work with Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan


According to the actress, when they contacted her, she thought, “Wow, Aamir Khan! Maybe now I will appear in a Hindi film.” However, Aamir Khan’s interest was not in a film role but in episodes of the late Moin Akhtar’s television programme. Aamir Khan had asked her for the complete episodes of the programme.


According to Sarwat, Aamir Khan specifically praised Moin Akhtar’s acting and said that he had never seen an actor who could portray such different looks and characters with such skill.
