Web Desk: National Savings Centre announced the results of the 107th computerised draw for the Rs750 Prize Bond, awarding a top prize of Rs1.5 million to the holder of bond number 976106.
Meanwhile, three bondholders secured the second prize of Rs500,000 each. The winning bond numbers are 350211, 604285 and 607262.
In addition, 1,696 bondholders qualified for the third prize of Rs9,300 each. National Savings said the complete list of third-prize winners will be released separately.
Furthermore, the draw was conducted in Lahore as part of National Savings’ regular prize bond schedule, which offers cash prizes through computerized balloting.
However, winners will not receive the full announced prize amounts because applicable withholding taxes will be deducted before payments are made.
Under the prevailing tax rules, registered tax filers will be subject to a 15% deduction on prize money, while non-filers will face a 30% withholding tax.
