ISLAMABAD: Protective bail granted by IHC to YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Naniwala.
No arrest will be made upon their landing.
The arrest of Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala upon arrival has been prevented by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) by granting them protective bail. They are expected to arrive at Islamabad airport tomorrow.
Both Naniwala and Rajab Butt are facing multiple cases. The most prominent ones are cybercrime allegations.
The orders were issued by Islamabad High Court Justice Raja Inam Amin. The justice instructed that neither Nadeem Naniwala nor Rajab Butt be arrested when they land in Islamabad. However, the influencers will have to personally appear before court tomorrow.
Legal representation and cases
The petitioners were represented by Lawyer Ahad Khokar. Charges related to Cybercrime and other alleged violations; multiple cases have been registered against the two accused in different jurisdictions.
The case is garnering a lot of attention due to certain events happening recently. The most prominent one was the arrest of Ducky Bhai in gambling apps promotion case and then him coming out of jail. His explosive video has caught the attention of everyone. Hence, now the case of Rajab Butt and Naniwala is also being followed by public closely.
Fans are also excited for Rajab to be back in Pakistan as they expect him to make a comeback vlog just like Ducky Bhai.
